1. An Opportunity to Observe and Support Your Child’s Learning Journey.
As a cooperative preschool participant, you become an active partner in your child’s early educational experiences. Both you and your child will benefit from learning alongside our dedicated teachers, engaging curriculum, and the shared experience of community involvement—all while building lasting friendships. We value the diverse contributions of our family volunteers, welcoming moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other caregivers. This variety of participation enriches the classroom environment and enhances each child’s experience through the unique perspectives and backgrounds of our families.

2. A Co-Op Offers Higher Adult-to-Child Ratios Compared to Most Early Childhood Programs.
Each class session is supported by our lead teacher, classroom aide, and participating family members. This collaborative approach allows us to offer a rich variety of activities and experiences, all guided by attentive adult supervision.
One of the most valuable early literacy experiences for young children is meaningful conversation. Engaging in dialogue with adults helps to expand a child’s vocabulary, strengthen verbal skills, and deepen their understanding of ideas and concepts.

3. Individualized Attention and the Opportunity for Exploration at the Child’s Own Pace
Children receive the individual attention they need while also having the freedom to engage in quiet, independent play. Our daily schedule includes dedicated time for free choice, allowing children to explore dramatic play, art activities, and a variety of educational materials at their own pace.
It is a rewarding experience to observe each child’s growth throughout the year as they develop social skills and build meaningful relationships with both peers and trusted adults.
